We are proud to welcome nine women into the 2026 Transformative Rural Leadership Institute (TRLI). This cohort is grounded in the understanding that maternal health is an interconnected ecosystem, central to community wellbeing and healing.
At the core of TRLI is the belief that meaningful change begins by addressing root causes of harm within individuals, systems, and institutions. The 2026 cohort will explore self-discovery, relational healing, feminine leadership, and maternal lineages—honoring the wisdom that sustains rural communities.

01
Healing Centered Leadership
The healing centered approach comes from the idea that people are not harmed in a vacuum, and well-being comes from participating in transforming the root causes of the harm within institutions.
02
Investing in Rural Social Capital
Recognizing the unique challenges faced by rural communities, TRLI is committed to fostering grassroots leadership and restoring community well-being by investing in the social capital of rural communities.
03
Monthly learning Opportunities
Through a combination of monthly educational opportunities, training, and mental health support, TRLI aims to cultivate a new generation of rural leaders who are equipped to advance healing and mental well-being.
04
Community-Directed Funding
Community voice and co-created solutions are our top priority. Investing in healing-centered learning allows individuals and families to move forward with the support and resources they need to build healthier futures.
